| Yes, they didn't let us down! That's an epic comeback for 86. It was worth the wait. My heart was melting when Lena and Shin finally crossed their paths again and Shin knowing that his' comrades survived. Truly, magnificent. |

| I am sorry but I cannot get over the character development of Shin, bro developed from being an emo to a simp the moment he see’s the girl he was having long calls for a year or so ago was a hot babe and not in anyway pig looking like Theo’s depiction illust of her lol. I swear if they actually meet for real next ep and “Hands up to the sky” plays I am going to lose it badly. |

| The show's back!!!! Good to see them all again!!!! And both of them met each other!!!! Although it didn't quite go the way I expected nevertheless it was an awesome episode!!!! Can't wait to see the finale!!!! |

| 86 is back and it was an excellent episode once more. The first half of the episode showed the mental anguish of Shin being left behind and the background music pretty much fits the atmosphere. Shin and Lena reunion was even better than the novels in my opinion.It really brings tears in your eyes. One more episode left.Let's go for it. |

| It was pretty but largely a miss for me. I held out hope for a while that the crazy visuals and extremely unlikely appearance of the major were things being shown to him as he got implanted in a legion. Having an everyone lives style ending doesn't fit well in my mind. I think it's exacerbated by the seasons splitting such that all the important deaths were season one. Sure we've got Eugene, but quickly introducing a character to kill them off is a lot more commonplace. |

| The hype is back and is stronger than ever. But I just can't stand that Shin did not let her see him, and I have a feeling that the next ep is gonna be about what she's been through, and if they end it before they can meet I am gonna be pissed so much. |

The differences made the connection pretty terrible, but still allowed Lena's and Shin's devices to connect as she was an authorized user on their network. I see, it explains. Thanks ! |

Lena only hear Shin call her "major" 1 time not long after she turn on her para-RAID, the rest is Shin monologue. You want every anime to explicitly tell you which part is monologue and which is not? "How can he hear their communication?" The Federation copy every part of Republic para-RAID device (except the permanent GPS tracking device). Because the communication part of the device itself is copied, it should be able to still connect. Just to clarify this part in the anime, you can see in the episode that shins communicator turns greenish when it connects to the para raid network lena is using (throwback to his ear clip para raid device), but turns yellow when connected to the giad network (the colouring isn't great due to the visual filter effect in the scenes, but you can see it's a distinctly different colour when the giad army connects to him when the helis arrive). Furthermore after the first incident of shin thinking/mentioning lena's rank, he moves his hand to deactivate his communicator (there is no striped colouring to indicate the communicator is on), some of the dialogue is him talking to himself [aloud?] inside the cockpit, he does not pipe his dialogue through his mic into the external speakers. Bear in mind that just over a year has passed since shin left san magnolia. |

| HOLY FUCK LENA IS BACK LETS GOO Avid is such a good soundtrack, It really hit during the reunion scene with Lena. Next episode titled "Handler One" so I assume Lena and the 86 will finally meet. I thought the delay with the last two episodes would really dampen excitement for 86 but damn nothing is stopping the hype train. |

| Okaerinasai, 86!! It's back!! Dead don't belong to this world, so they must be eliminated. This was the reason behind killing Kiri's ghost, and Shin, who lost the will to live and was like dead inside, was going to share the same fate. At last, a spark of life gives Shin the force to save himself. Thinking about his mates, he realizes how much he needs them and the value of not being alone. But as soon as he found the will to live, the remnant of the legion is going to give him the last hit. For the first time, he experiences the fear of death. Then, the long-awaited moment... the wonderful heroine appears and saves the hero. The two pillars meet each other for the first time. Lena is changed, she made huge step forward, trying to reach Shin. He believed he had nowhere to go, no future or other purposes after freeing his brother and Kiri, but the path Lena is following is the same Shin created by advancing. In other words, Shin became Lena's reason to fight, giving inspiration to her and all the people with her. This encounter restores his purpose to pursue a path, confirming his motivation to live. I was too astonished even to cry... OMG THIS STORYTELLING!!! Every damn second was pure poetry. Absolutely Beautiful, a masterpiece of an episode, pure perfection. I can't wait for the last episode of this cour and looking forward to the next season! |

It's been a while since I've genuinely felt angry at a show. It actually made me feel uncomfortable to the point idk if I'll watch the next episode, there was absolutely no reason other than "hype" for Shin to do that and it just felt unreal and unbearable. The first half was a bit long winded with the psychological aspect, reminded me of the mental breakdown in last episodes of evangelion. |

| Well, that was awesome aftermath Shin's psychological breakdown was very visual and intense. I guess he even imagined the last Legion unit. I think he needs a vacation. Lena appeared again, I liked how the butterfly mechs retreated when she came closer. It would be interesting to see what she went through in the meantime. I would have wished that he would have called her Mayor Milize Too bad she didn't notice him or was sure that it must be someone else. I was happy that the rest of the 86 team made it, since they made no special death flag hints when they were forced to part it was to be expected. I nevertheless was convinced that everyone was already dead....... |

| Probably been answered already, but was Lena the one who took out the Legion mech that was about to kill Shin? If so, that's a hell of a crack shot from that rifle to hit whatever weak spot the mech has and make it explode... Unless I missed something else. |
